If you feel like indulging in a bit of classic nostalgia, then this might be just the car for you. This might not be the cheapest project car on the planet, but I’ve had a bit of a scout around, and for what it is, the BIN price is extremely competitive. Street rods have been an integral part of the classic car scene for decades now, and the scene has experienced a bit of a resurgence in recent times. I currently have an empty workshop, and this really looks tempting. It’s probably a good thing for me that there are many miles and an entire ocean between me and this car. That’s probably not a bad thing, because this really is going to be a chance for the new owner to build the car that they want, without being constrained by someone else’s ideas. The owner also mentions that there are bucket seats, along with more parts that he doesn’t actually specify. There is also a Mustang front suspension to go with the car, although that might be about it for mechanical components. It’s based on a ‘1934 Ford 3-window coupe and Gibbons describes it as, The bad little sister of the Eliminator coupe. The cars are all built by So-Cal Speedshop, including Gibbon’s own car he’s driving called Whiskey Runner. The frame itself looks quite good, but it could use a clean and either a coat of paint or a trip to the powder-coater. The reworking is classic ZZ Top and so is the video. There is a frame included with the car, and the title matches the frame number. It even looks like the windshield and rear glass are also present, along with the moldings. The only panels that don’t rate a mention are the doors, and I can’t see them in the photos either. You get all of the fenders, the running boards, the hood, grille, and the shell. ![]() The photos aren’t the greatest, but we do know that it does appear to be largely complete. ![]() ![]() The owner has set a BIN price of $6,500 for the Ford, but the option is available to make an offer.įor those who haven’t already guessed, the body for this Ford is a fiberglass replica. Located in Imperial, Missouri, you will find this 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe listed for sale here on eBay. Well, fear not, because this car might just be the ticket to that dream. We’d love to build ourselves a nice street rod, but the idea of modifying an old classic is a bit hard to swallow. I know that there are plenty of people out there like me.
